We'll I'm back with a vengeance! I've turned 19 during my short hiatus and I must admit
just the other day I realized how GREAT Disney channel original movies used to be, key phrase USED TO BE. Here is a list of my old favorites, lets see if you remember.
Favorite DCOM's before they got lame

Hocus Pocus
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOK!"
More than 300 years ago, 3 witches were sentenced to die in Salem, Massachusetts and a boy was turned into a cat (a black cat, naturally). Now it's Halloween, and the witches (who fly on [I kid you not] vacuum cleaners) are back. This time, they've got their eyes on immortal life and have turned their wrath on trick-or-treaters and it's up to the 300-year-old cat to save the day.
Now did you light the black flame candle?

Underwraps
Three 12-year-old kids discover a mummy in the basement of a "dead" man's house. It comes alive due to the conjunction of the moonlight during that time of the month. They are scared of him at first, but with time discover he is friendly, if clumsy and confused.
The kids name the mummy Harold, and decide he will temporarily take up residence in one kid's bedroom. After paying a visit to their Halloween-obsessed friend, they discover that if the mummy is not put back in his coffin before midnight on All Hallow's Eve, the mummy will cease to exist.

Susie Q
Susie Q was going to a dance one night when she and her boyfriend got into a car crash and fell off a bridge. Years later, a teenager named Zach Sands moves into Susie's old house. Zach's father died in a car accident so his family is his mother and his sister, Penny Sands. One night, Zach sees Susie, and she discovers the he can see her. Then Susie explains to Zach, there is a Heaven. But after death people are sent back to Earth to help their families. And sometimes when they can't help by themselves, they get special help. And that is why Zach can see her. So that he could help her family. In fact, Zach is the only one who can see Susie. And on the way, Zach falls in love with Susie. Is their love divine?

Don't Look Under the Bed
Thirteen-year-old Frances McCausland has always approached life with logic and reason, rejecting all childhood tendencies in herself and those around her. When someone starts playing destructive pranks in her small community, all evidence points to Frances as the culprit. Upon further investigation, Frances discovers she is actually being framed by a mischievous "Boogeyman" who resides under her bed. Desperate to solve the mystery, Frances reluctantly enlists the help of Larry Houdini, her little brother's imaginary friend. Contrary to Frances' rational nature, Larry must teach her to rely on her imagination in order to defeat the Boogeyman, clear her name and save the town.

Get a Clue
"Get a Clue" follows the exploits of a young girl, Lexy, who is a privileged twelve year old who has spent her entire life amongst the wealthy and elite of Manhattan. Clad in Prada, she prides herself on her ability to get the scoop and serve it up in her school's gossip column. When a photo she has taken of her teachers is published in the city's daily paper, things start getting weird. A teacher goes missing and she along with her working class family friend, Jack, set out to solve the mystery. What follows is an action-packed adventure laced with mystery and drama.

Stepsister from planet weird
In this comic sci-fi story based on the popular novel for young people by Francess Lantz, an alien from another world finds his way to the planet Earth with his 12-year-old daughter in tow. As the visitors try to adjust to the ways of this world, Dad meets and marries a single mother, and now his daughter not only has to learn how to act like an Earthling 24 hours a day, but she suddenly has to deal with her new step-siblings. Produced for The Disney Channel, Stepsister from Planet Weird stars Courtnee_Draper, Khrystyne_Haje, and Tamara Hope. Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
With all that said I would like to give an honorable mention to Up Up and away, Ally Cat Strike and Model Behavior.
I should also admit how tired and annoyed I was of the constant airing and overplaying of Mighty Joe young and Quints!

Before I forget :)
